Matech started in 2010 as a four-person team building custom accounting tools for Texas distributors who had outgrown QuickBooks but could not justify a seven-figure ERP. The same three problems came up on every engagement: the warehouse count never matched the ledger, month-end took two weeks, and nobody trusted the reports.
So we stopped writing one-off tools and built a product. Matech ERP is what came out of a decade of those engagements — a single-ledger platform where the warehouse, the sales floor and the controller are looking at the same number at the same moment.
Today we are 120 people across Dallas, Austin and Chicago, running implementations, custom development, cloud operations and the growth work that follows. The product funds the services and the services keep the product honest.
